My friend and I grew up just down the street from each other. We explored the world together -- we ran together, did after school clubs together, hung around Borders together (even after they died), went camping and hiking together, etc. So when college came and she relocated across the country, it was hard missing my fellow explorer.

We Skyped quite frequently and that worked well enough but near the end of school, Google+ Chat came out and it offered a more creative option for video chat. Some of their new features included  collaborative doodles, card games and our favorite feature, dress up. We'd be astronauts, deep sea divers, cats and dogs, facial hair inclined females, etc. It was a lot of fun and so I created the tales of our digital meetups in the project, The Incredible Adventures of Señor Poofcakes & Monsieur Smooshcheese, using screenshot photos from our chats.
